Win A Signed Pair Of Alvaro’s Race Gloves!

A very special announcement for you, as we at BatiFans.com introduce this year’s RACECARD Competition, featuring our greatest prize yet: a pair of Alvaro’s racing gloves, used by Bati this coming season and signed by him too – courtesy of our very special sponsors REV’IT! Sport International, suppliers of Alvaro’s leathers in 2010.
REV’iT! will also be providing some runners-up prizes of t-shirts, again exclusively signed by Alvaro himself.

Those of you who have been forum members at BatiFans.com for a while and who may have played RACECARD 2009 will need no introduction to the game; it’s simple – you just predict Alvaro’s qualifying and race positions race by race across the season and you score points for correct predictions.

We will be posting up the topic for the first round in the week ahead of the first race, and you can find out more about RACECARD 2010 – and keep up to date with an ongoing league table at this address:

Win a Limited Edition Team Aspar MotoGP Jacket with Teletext

> IN ASSOCIATION WITH TELETEXT <

Win a Limited Edition Aspar Team Jacket!

To help launch our new-look site, and to help celebrate the new MotoGP season, we have teamed up with legendary UK news service Teletext to bring you a truly unmissable competition….
By going to Teletext on ITV or Channel 4 – on the old blocky analogue pages or on your Freeview or Sky digital box – you can answer one very simple question to be up for winning one of the *extremely* limited edition ‘Spain-only’ official Aspar team jackets.
This really is an amazing prize for any Bati fan (and owning one myself I have to say they’re brilliant!)
We have donated the prize, and Teletext are running the competition across their analogue and digital television services on ITV and Channel 4, as well as on their website – and anybody is free to enter; although as you have to enter by a text message from your mobile phone, it may be impossible for those who live outside the UK. My advice would be that if this is the case that you get a friend in the UK to enter on your behalf!

The competition runs from February 25th to March 11th, and to enter you should go to ITV or Channel 4 (analogue, Freeview or Sky) press TEXT and go to page 108. If you are looking at the MotoGP or motorsport sections on Teletext you may well see banners promoting the competition too; so just follow the directions on them.

COMPETITION: Designers Wanted!

Any Alvaro Bautista fan who fancies getting their work out on the web, and who fancies a cute little golden ‘19′ pin badge, should go over to BatiFans.com and check out our latest competition…

We’re going to be affiliating with some official MotoGP riders websites/forums and as part of this there will be a ‘button’ exchange – we will have little graphic buttons somewhere on our pages and so will the other forums.
So – the competition is to design a small, very groovy, graphic button (100 pixels wide by 35 pixels deep) featuring a pic of Alvaro (action? portrait? up to you…) which may be graphically treated in any way and which also features the words “Alvaro Bautista”. Any BatiFans.com forum member can enter.

The winner will get a very cool, very rare, little metal ‘19′ badge pin which looks great in a jacket or shirt.
There’s a topic with further details here…
Good luck if you plan on entering :)
Closing date is 12/01/08
